DR. PETER DRASDO
Before establishing DC & P GmbH Peter successfully led the business of a gas TSO in Germany as CEO.
Prior he held multiple senior management roles at a European energy company in Germany, Czech Republic and Turkey.
Peter started his career at the Institute of Energy Economics at the University of Cologne from where he joined von Weizsäcker Management Consulting.
Altogether he has more than 25 years of industry experience in energy markets.
His core areas are in the power- and gas sector, the commercial and regulated business areas, the commodity and capacity business as well as in the short-term trading and long-term origination.
Moreover, he is an expert in Nuclear and RadWaste Economics. His additional expertise covers the oil-, coal- and heat markets and he has consulted multiple energy using industries.
His main functional expertise is market analysis, strategy development and implementation, M&A transactions as well as organic business development and setting up the related business. He has experience in multinational corporates and medium sized enterprises and has built a start-up Turkey.
Peter holds a PhD from the University of Cologne and two degrees in Economics as well as in Business Administration.
He is married and has one son. His hobbies are hiking as well as arts & antiques.
Prior to founding DC & P GmbH Marcus was a consultant with an international technology company focusing on energy and digital business in EMEA.
Before moving into consulting, he served as Vice President at an oil trading company in the Middle East where he built and ran the risk management section globally.
He has more than 20 years of international experience in finance, in energy and commodity trading. More than ten years he has led and managed intercultural teams in a multi-national oil trading company as well as in the energy trading arm of a European utility.
Marcus' focus areas are risk management, energy trading and the application and integration of new digital technologies in these areas.
He contributes extensive project experience in large financial transformation programs (including methods, master data, reporting and
systems) in the energy industry. His experience covers regulatory standards, international accounting standards (IFRS 9/17) and he has expert knowledge and market overview
in IT for energy companies, reporting and data warehouse solutions.
He has successfully carried out several international roll-out projects focusing on the introduction of new reporting requirements and systems in commodity trading, both domestically and abroad.
Marcus holds a degree in Business Administration and has studied at the Universities of Bochum and Duisburg.
He is married and has two children. In his free time he enjoys a sailing, cycling and badminton.
